Yogaville is an internationally certified Yoga Alliance yoga studio. Our classes are taught in the VINYASA style, and influenced by the ASHTANGA series and HATHA basics.
Our classes assist with stress relief & reduction, condition the body and improves general fitness, flexibility, strength and overall physical and mental health and wellness.
STYLES OF YOGA
VINYASA YOGA
Vinyasa yoga is some of the most active & invigorating yoga you can practice & is really best described as freestyle Ashtanga.
Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” In other words, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is also called Vinyasa Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together & become like a dance.
The purpose of Vinyasa is to create heat in the body, which leads to purification of the body through increased circulation & sweating. It also improves flexibility, which allows the student to practice advanced asanas without risk of injury.
The result is improved circulation, a light & strong body, & a calm mind.
YOGA BASICS
For anyone who is used to mild to moderate activity/sport/gym/exercise. Mostly a physical practice, starting with exploring different breathing techniques, followed by standing and seated postures and balances to safely build strength by toning the body and increasing flexibility.
All Yoga mobilises joints, releases tension and moves energy.
PRIVATE CLASSES
Ideal if you want to work with a teacher at your own pace, with or without your friend/partner, and at a time that works for you.
